My Resolution

I have wanted to start this for a while, but I get caught up in the "details" of how, when, and what... like many things in my life. Today I am 366 (leap year!) away from turning 25 years old. Yes today is my birthday!

There are many things I want to accomplish before I hit that 'Milestone' in my life. I also know who I am and who I am not.. to an extent. I want to use this next year to grow as a person, as a wife, and as a mother. I want to stop letting life pass me by, and cherish each moment.

First, a little about me. I am a recent BA graduate from a small private Lutheran college. I went to college for International Business Management, and I speak German fluently. My plans were to head to Europe after graduation and figure things out while I was there. I graduated after the 'market turned south.' I also found out shortly before graduation I was expecting. Whoa! What a shock it was to me and my then short-term boyfriend. Needless to say, my life has taken many different turns since Easter weekend 2009 when I found out I would be becoming a mother by the end of the year.

In the last two-plus years, I have given birth to a beautiful little girl- Ada. I have also married that 'short-term' boyfriend Joel. We live in his hometown, only a short and convenient hour and a half from most of my family.

As much as I know I am blessed, it is still hard for me not to wonder and dream what my life would have been if I hadn't unexpectedly became a mother, and was able to do everything on my Bucket-List-Before-A-Family list. I have struggled with this. It unfortunately effect my family, my relationships and effects how I go about my daily life.

My goal in the next year, is to relax, enjoy, check some things off my To-Do list.

A sneak-peak at my ever-expanding To-Do list:
